CRISPY banh khot! Different than other styles, it's thinner and doesn't have that coconut flavor but still yummy We tried both the shrimp and ground meat banh khot, the shrimp is definitely the winner The hubby also ordered what I think is their Cornish hen with egg fried rice, simple but good. Love the chewy texture of their rice Food is really affordable too which is always appreciated

The banh khot here was soooo crispy!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it so much and it was different than what I usually have. Both options were good but I liked the pork one more! Oh the iced tea was so good too! I think they put pandan for an additional Layer of flavor. Loved the iced tea! The server spoke English and I was relieved bc my Vietnamese was bad Credit card has 3% fee so we paid and tipped in cash . Support small businesses!!!

Hmm.. I recently came here with my mom because she feels like this is the OG banh khot place. Ambiance is very casual, traditional Vietnamese restaurant vibes. Service is by older Vietnamese, and they were extremely fast and welcoming. I was excited to try but personally it's not my preferred place. Their fish sauce is too sweet for me and I dumped their hot chili in but it still couldn't fix the sauce for me. The banh khot is very crispy but if the sauce isn't good, you're just kinda eat crunchy fried dough. They also did not have the preferred herbs (fish mint) that other places I have tried serve or any pickled veggies. I felt like I was forcing myself to eat the last few banh khot because it just wasn't punching in flavor but we don't waste food here. I can see why people love this place which is why I'm rounding it up to 4 stars, so it might just be my personal palate.

I haven't had much banh khot in my life, but this might be the standard. My SO and I shared an order of their banh khot with shrimp (they also come in pork, but we were recommended to try it with the shrimp) and noodle. Both were tasty and fresh. My favorite thing about the BK was the vegetables that you eat it with. Felt like a handle held salad in a way. You can choose to omit it, but i don't think you're getting the full experience without it. Small mom and pop shop, that was pretty busy. Good amount of parking space in a strip mall. This spot is definitely good for a quick bite.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! I have never really liked banh khot because I remember it being so doughy and not as crispy but this one is by far the best I've ever had. If you're familiar with banh xeo, it's the same consistency but in a bite size form. Every bite was so crispy and crunchy, packed with so much flavor. Loved the fresh herbs served on the side and the nuoc mam which you're able to control how spicy you wanted it. They are served in 8 pieces which I think I could have eaten on my own but I had to share at this time... definitely am ordering my own on my next trip up!

Most delectable appetizers. I love Viet food and these are one of my faves. The Banh Khot is done so well here. They are light and crispy and not as oily as other places. The restaurant is small but if you go during non peak you are golden. Service is pretty decent. They are nice and accommodating and cleared the tables quickly.

Every time we try to go to the other banh khot shop competitor, their hours are never compatible with our schedule, so we decided to come here, which we were so glad we did! The shop itself is pretty small, with only 6 tables on the inside, each seating about 4-5 people. The restaurant was actually open a few minutes earlier than 10, and there was already one group there. Quickly the restaurant filled up. The menu is entirely in Vietnamese. The staff speaks mostly Vietnamese, as well. They were very friendly! The restaurant is definitely hole-in-the-wall, and it is very reminiscent of my childhood. Of note, there is limited parking in the plaza. We ordered the banh khot thit (ground meat) and the banh khot tom (shrimp). Both came out pretty quickly. Before the banh khot came out, we got a large plate of fresh lettuce and herbs, and a plate of picked veggies. There is debate on whether the banh khot thit or banh khot tom is better...I think with the banh khot thit there is more toppings (believe this is ground pork and black fungus), but the shrimp has a nice flavor. Overall, the banh khot is VERY crispy, and that contrasts really well with the fresh herbs and fish sauce. I would definitely come back for the banh khot if I am in the area!

I was in the area starving and found this spot on good ol' Yelp. It's a small, unassuming hole-in-the-wall type place. We got there right when they opened, so we didn't have to wait. The menu is small only about 10 items--but we came specifically for the bánh khọt and also got an order of bột chiên. The star of the show is definitely the bánh khọt! Probably one of the best I've had--crispy outside with a slight chew in the middle. I wish we had ordered more, but by the time we left, there was a line out the door. The dipping sauce, fresh herbs, and sliced papaya they serve with it just took it to the next level. The bột chiên was okay, but I'd skip it next time and just get more bánh khọt. I'm already thinking about my next visit. I heard this spot is great for takeout, so I might go that route if the line's too long next time.

I've seen a content on Instagram by Soy (foodwithsoy) and she made it looked so good. I was up in Anaheim for the weekend and decided to stop by. It's a small restaurant with a few tables and chairs, menu had a few items. They specialize in Banh Khot. Was greeted when we entered, I ordered to go. I had the banh Khot Tom (shrimp) and banh Khot thit (beef). Both came with lots of vegetables and fish sauce on the side. They were delicious!!!! Crispy edges and soft chewy center. The protein portion was great. $12 each banh khot and about eight pieces per order. Customer service is excellent, 10 out of 10. Food came out piping hot and smelled delicious. It was still crispy hours later. They accept cards. Plenty of parking.
